BRAD BUCHANAN


Funeral services for Mr. Brad Buchanan, 44, of Marquez, Texas were held on
Monday, July 30, 2007, at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home in Jewett, Texas.

Bro. Billy Bob Evans officiated and interment followed at Marquez Cemetery.

Mr. Buchanan passed away on Friday, July 27, 2007, in an automobile accident
near Marquez. He was born and raised in Houston, but had lived in Marquez 
since 1983.

Mr. Buchanan owned and operated Brad Auto Air in Marquez for twenty years and 
also purchased Stone’s Auto in Jewett with his wife in 1999. Brad enjoyed duck 
hunting, fishing, racing and raising cattle. He loved his dogs, especially his 
hunting dog, Sadie. He loved helping people and was a very giving person. He
married Deborah on April 23, 1993, and shared over fourteen years together.

Mr. Buchanan is survived by his wife Deborah Buchanan of Marquez; his son Kevin
Perry of Corsicana; his daughters Brittany Davis of Huntsville and Courtney 
Perry of Marquez; his father M.D. (Buster) Buchanan of Marquez; his sister 
Lizabeth Smith and husband Jeff of Spring; his brothers Brian Buchanan and wife
Susan of Pinehurst and Jeff Buchanan of Spring; his niece Kimberly Sligar of
Conroe, his nephews Kevin Smith of Spring, Jacob Buchanan of Pinehurst and Lukr 
Buchanan of Magnolia; two great nieces; his father and mother-in-law Gaylon and 
Jean Blackman of Corsicana; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Buchanan.

Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home of Jewett was in charge of the arrangements.
