Carolyn Ann (Banks) Burgner

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Ann Burgner, 66, of Wortham, will be
conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in First Baptist Church of
Wortham. The Rev. Steven Schulte, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in
Wortham Cemetery, under direction of Porter Funeral Home-Mexia.

A retired employee from Mexia State School, Mrs. Burgner was born Dec. 17,
1937, in Kerens. She died Sunday in Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center-Waco.

Family visitation is scheduled for tonight from 6 until 9 o'clock in Porter
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Burgner was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Banks; by her mother,
Marietta Brown; by a sister, Loretta Banks, and by her husbands - Robert
(Punch) Minatra and Robert (Bob) Burgner.

Surviving are four daughters - Cathy Reeves and husband Mike of Wortham, Marsha
Dickerson and husband Dennis of Mildred, Sharon Minatra and fiance' Rodney
Jansky of Wortham, and Cindy Burgner of Florida; two sisters, Mary Lois
Phillips of Wortham and Rosie Keathley and husband Andy of Wortham; three
granddaughters, Chelse Reeves of Giddings, Courtney Reeves and Tiffany Rash,
both of Wortham; three grandsons, Michael C. Reeves and Adrian Rash, both of
Wortham, and Derrick Dickerson of Blooming Grove; a great-granddaughter,
Madison Dickerson of Blooming Grove; three great-grandsons, Ty Reeves of
Hillsboro, Cutter Reeves and Will Boswell, both of Wortham; four nieces and a
nephew, two great-nieces and two great-nephews.

Pallbearers are Andy Keathley III, Clint Guthrie, Michael Chad Reeves, Craig
Jenkins, Derrick Dickerson and Rodney Jansky.
