James Ray Burkhalter

Funeral services were held last week for James Ray Burkhalter, 78, of Fairfield
who died Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Mr. Burkhalter was born in Franklin on Oct. 4, 1929.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Fairfield Cemetery with 
Rev. Bobby Rutherford, Jr. officiating.

Mr. Burkhlater is survived by wife Phyllis Burkhalter of Fairfield; sons James 
Randall Burkhalter of Hawkins and Kenneth Ray Burkhalter of Fairfield; 
daughters Paula Burkhalter and Teresa Burkhalter; grandchildren Robyn Burkhalter
of Hawkins and Dustin and Taylor Burkhalter of Fairfield; sisters Shelby Smith
of Fairfield and Sandra Smith of Teague.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Pauline Burkhalter.

JAMES RAY BURKHALTER

Mr. James Ray Burkhalter, of Fairfield, Texas, passed 2007. He was 78 years 
old.

Mr. Burkhalter was born on October 4, 1929, in Franklin, Texas, to George and 
Pauline Burkhalter.

Graveside services for Mr. Burkhalter were held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007,
at Fairfield Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Rutherford, Jr. officiated.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Burkhalter of Fairfield, his sons James
Randall Burkhalter of Hawkins and Kenneth Ray Burkhalter of Fairfield, his 
daughters Paula Burkhalter and Teresa Burkhalter, his grandchildren Robyn
Burkhalter of Hawkins, Dustin Burkhalter of Fairfield and Taylor Burkhalter of
Fairfield, his sisters Shelby Smith of Fairfield and Sandra Smith of Teague.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of the arrangements.
