Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder May 20, 2010 edition Tee M. Burleson Funeral services for Mr. Tee M. Burleson, 92, were held May 15, 2010, at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Rev. Donnie Suits officiated. Interment followed the services at Lost Prairie Cemetery in Limestone County. Visitation was Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Burleson passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Fairfield Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born to Joseph Alexander and Agrippa Easterling Burleson on November 22, 1917, and was raised in rural Limestone County near Personville. Mr. Burleson worked for Sinclair Oil Refinery in Pasadena for 35 years until his retirement. He shared more than 70 years of marriage with Frances Holmes Burleson until being separated by her death in January 2009. Mr. Burleson was a founding member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Fairfield and had recently joined Emmanuel Baptist Church in Fairfield. He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Rains of Huntsville; two sons, Franklin D. Burleson of Houston and John T. Burleson and wife Debbie of Dew; eight grandchildren, Bernie Rains and wife Amy, Danielle Faught and husband Kent, Amy Sanjana and husband Sharhukh, Tia Schweitzer and husband Rich, Julie Grant and husband David, Jennifer Phillips and husband Kent, Emily Stilwell, and John Michael Burleson and wife Haley; 12 great-grandchildren, Tyler Faught, Sean Faught, Jordan Rains, Ava Sanjana, Emma Sanjana, Cullen Phillips, Rowdy Phillips, Sara Schweitzer, Aiden Grant, Elizabeth Grant, Boots Burleson, and William Sterling Grant; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
