Burleson, 67. died at his country home near Fairfield late Monday. He was a prominent native of Freestone County and a former resident of Wortham, where be was a merchant in the dry goods business. He also served as Sheriff of Freestone County a number of years. Funeral services will be held in the first Baptist Church of Fairfield with burial in the Old Cade Cemetery, the time pending arrival of relatives, immediate relatives surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. L. L. Rudafill of Fairfield and one son, Roy Burleson of Dallas; the following sisters and brothers, Oliver Burleson. Wortham; John Burleson and Joe Burleson of Fort Worth. Dave Burleson. Streetman; Mrs. H. B. Davis of Corsicana. Mrs. M. Baker of Stamps.
