Edward L. Burress

Funeral arrangements for Edward L. Burress, 80, are pending in Florala,
Alabama.

Mr. Burress, born in the Wortham area, lived around Wortham for several years
and served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. He died this morning at his home in
Florala and had been a Civil Service employee for 20 years.

He is survived his wife, Mildred; a daughter, Jeannie, and a grandson, Kevin,
all of Florida. Also surviving are two sisters - Janie Copley of Mexia and
Allene Johns of Corsicana.
