Ruth Bussey

Ruth Smith Bussey, 90, passed away in Fairfield, Texas, on Sunday May 12th.

Mrs. Bussey was born in Dew, Texas on January 5, 1912, to Otis and Ida Smith.
She was a schoolteacher for 40 years, retiring from Baytown ISH.  She was also
a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the Texas Retired Teacher's Association and 
was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church - Bryan.

Graveside services for Mrs. Bussey are Thursday, May 16th, at 1:30 p.m. at 
Magnolia Cemetery in Dayton, Texas.  Interment will follow.

Mrs. Bussey is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law; Roger and Elizabeth
Sith, Ralph and Hazel Smith, all of Teague; and one sister, Pam and husband 
Barney Davis, of Bryan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Ida
Smith; two brothers: Otis Smith and Guy Smith; and husband C.T. Bussey.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church-Dayton, Texas.

Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Teague was in charge of arrangements.
