Troy Faye Butcher

Troy Faye Butcher, age 65, of Wortham, died on October 23, 2005 at the Parkview
Regional Hospital. Mr. Butcher was born in Kirven on Dec. 1, 1940.

He was disabled and a member of the Smith Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in
Wortham.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 27 at 1 p.m. at the Smith Chapel
First Baptist Church in Wortham. Superintendent Mr. Charles Beard and the Rev.
Howard McLean officiated, with interment in the Wortham Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ruben Randle, David Evans, Billy Henderson, Lewis “Smokey”
Henderson, Joseph Randle, Kenneth Husey, and Bobby Freeman.

Survivors include Climmie Smith, Nancy Henderson and James, Rosie Jones, Jewel
Bowers and Robert, Alice Price and Ben, and Deborah Evans. Brothers: Leroy
Butcher and Sheila, Joe Butcher, Taft Butcher, Jr. and Kasandra, and Ricky
Price and Jean; a special brother-in-law, James Henderson; faithful friends;
Janice Betts, Joseph Randle and Ben Price; many nieces and nephews and other
relatives and friends.

Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home of Teague is in charge of arrangements.
