He was 57. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Highland Park Baptist Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Wake will be from 7 to 8 tonight at Angelic-Webber Funeral Chapel. Mr. Butcher was born in Wortham, East Central Texas, and had lived in Fort Worth for 37 years. He was an independent general contractor. Survivors: Wife, Bettye Barge Butcher of Fort Worth; four sons, Napoleon Leondres Butcher Jr., Gerald Butcher and Dennis Butcher, all of Troy, Ohio, and the Rev. Roderick Butcher of Fort Worth; two daughters, Cindy Butcher Hayes and Sherry Butcher Bolton, both of Dallas; five brothers, Elmer Butcher and Quincy Butcher, both of Troy, Col. Arthur Butcher of San Antonio, Clarence Butcher of Chicago and Aaron Butcher of Corsicana; four sisters, Alice Dillard, Velma Seasar and Joyce Doss, all of Dallas, and Theresa Butcher of Dayton, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.
