Lillie Mae (Hearn) Prestidge Cain

Graveside services were held over the weekend for Lillie Mae Prestidge Cain, 89, 
who died Thursday, Nov. 6.

Mrs. Cain was born in Crockett on Dec. 11, 1918, but has lived in Teague since 
the age of four.

She worked for many years in both the Crockett and Mexia state schools and was 
an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Mrs. Cain was a "second mother" to a group of students from Donie who graduated 
from Teague High School in 1958.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Greenwood Cemetery in 
Teague.

Mrs. Cain is survived by son, Billy Paul Prestidge; daughter, Jo Ann Satterwhite 
and husband Ben; grandson, Paul Kimble, all of Teague; granddaughters, Debbie 
Everett and husband Jim of Lake Fork and Dedra Goff of Wimberley; great-
grandchildren, Jimmy Everett, Arnold Goff, Amy Goff, Ana Goff, and Amber Goff; 
and great-greatgrandsons, Nathan Everett and Noah Migliavacca.

She was preceded in death by his brothers: Odell Hearn, J.B. Hearn, Willis 
Hearn, Leonard Hearn, Sam Hearn, Richard Hearn, and Bob Hearn; and one sister, 
Myrtle Mullican.

Arrangements were made by Bowers Funeral Home of Teague.
