Fairfield Recorder - Aug. 3, 1900

DIED - At her residence two miles south of Fairfield on the morning of July 
29th, 1900, of acute neuralgia of the heart, Mrs. Dodie Cain, wife of Mr. 
William O. Cain.  The deceased was well known in this vicinity, having been 
born and reared in about a mile of Fairfield.  She was a daughter of Mr. I.N. 
Robertson, of Fairfield, and was about 27 years old.  Besides a husband, 
father and other relatives to feel her loss, she leaves three children all of 
whom are small.  She was a member of the Post Oak Grove Baptist Church, and 
her remains were laid to rest in the cemetery near the church, Rev. M.M. 
Wadsworth officiating.
