WORTHAM - Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel 
for C. E. (Son) Calame, 66, lifelong resident of Wortham, who died Monday 
afternoon.

The Revs. Glen Latimer and . A. Tarkington will officiate, with burial following 
at Woodland Cemetery at Krivin.

He was a member of the Kirvin Baptist Church, born near Wortham in Navarro County,
and a retired oil field roughneck.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Glenda Hendon of Teague, Mrs. Elizabeth 
Lucas of Corsicana and Mrs. Nelda Williams of Kirvin; four sons, Charles L. 
Calame of Wortham, Jerry Calame of DeSoto, Jesse Calame of Plano, and Tony 
Calame of Wortham; four sisters, Mrs. Lucy Teal of Mexia, Mrs. Aline Wisdom of 
Plainview, and Mrs. Flora Crenshaw and Mrs. Josephine Patterson, both of 
Leveland; three brothers, Cloman Calame and David Calame of Wortham and Billy 
Calame of Palestine; and 17 grandchildren.
