Fairfield Recorder - March 6, 1903

DIED:  Mrs. M.A. Campbell, sister and aunt of Mrs. Lou Evans and Mr. Rufus 
Watson, died at her home in Palestine last Thursday.  Her remains were 
followed to the family burying ground near Butler, by a large number of 
relatives and friends from Whitewright, Crockett, Palestine and Oakwoods.  By 
the side of  the husband of her youth, by the side of the and idolized son,
and only child, over whose tragic death twenty years ago, her weary and fired 
heart at last broke.  She was laid to rest.
