Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Teague Chronicle August 8, 2009 edition LARRY DONNELL CANADY Funeral services for Larry Donnell Canady were held Thursday, August 6, 2009, in the Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, 326 Huckaby Street, where Rev. A.L. Thibodeaux is pastor. Rev. Michael Pryor, pastor of Third Avenue Baptist Church-Dallas, was the Eulogist. Interment was in the Fairfield Methodist Cemetery. Mr. Canady graduated with the Fairfield High School Class of 1980 and enjoyed a career as a truck driver. He passed away in the Parkland Hospital Medical System in Dallas on July 30, 2009. His father, Willie C. Canady, and two brothers, Robert L. Canady and Johnny W. Canady, preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother Minnie Jo Canady, Fairfield; sons, Mario Strain and Lavargus Canady, both of Mexia; daughters, Cammecia Strain of Mexia and Kristal Strain of Fairfield; the mother of his children, Dorothy Canady, Mexia; his brother Robert Canady and wife, Vicki, Fairfield; sisters, Dessa L. Canady, Irving; Eva Britton and husband, Warren, Fairfield; 10 grandchildren; uncles, aunts, special nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
