Freestone County, Texas Obituaries ELEANOR GRACE SPEED CANNON Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Rogers for Eleanor Grace Speed Cannon, 90, of Temple, formerly of Rogers and Fairfield who died last Friday in a Temple living center. Interment will begin at 3 p.m. in Stewards Mill Cemetery. Mrs. Cannon was born January 2, 1920 in Fairfield to Clarence Speed and Jessie Pearl Renfrow Speed. She married Millard H. Cannon on September 4, 1037. Together they lived in Temple from 1944 to 1967 during which time they were members of Memorial Baptist Church. In 1967, the couple moved to Rogers where Mrs. Cannon was an active member of the First Baptist Church and the FCE (Family and Community Education) Club of Rogers. She is survived by her husband of 73 years; son Don Cannon of Temple; daughters Karon Collier of Richardson and Sherry Cannon of Grand Prairie; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and sisters Jean Bonner of Fairfield and Wynema Hoeinghaus of Waxahachie.
