Isiah Carden, Jr. was born on October 29, 1938 in Fairfield, Texas, to the parents of Isiah, Sr. and Maurine (Govan) Carden. He was the first of six children. Ike attended Dogan High School in Fairfield, Texas in 1957. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Ike married Nancy Edwards in Holy Matrimony. This union was blessed with six children. He worked as a long distance truck driver. He was an honorary member of the Ike Carden Rodeo Association. On May 9, 2014 in Fairfield, Texas, Ike left this earth on the Wings of Angels. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isiah, Sr. and Maurine Carden and Leophia Carden; two children, Christopher Carden and Lisa Carden.
