Karen (Maxwell) Carlisle  

Karen Carlisle, 55, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at
Navarro Regional Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral
Home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel. Interment will
follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery in Fairfield.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Umphres, Bradley Smith, Joey Smith, Chris Franks,
Roger Benton and David Benton.

Mrs. Carlisle was born Sept. 13, 1950, to Carter Maxwell and Dorothy Capps
Speed Maxwell. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dawson. She
was a nurse. She enjoyed cooking. Family and friends were the biggest part of
her life.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Carlisle; sons, Thomas Carlisle Jr.,
Edral Malcolm Boyte and Douglas Carlisle; daughters, Darlene Ritchie and Kyna
Salemi; grandchildren, Alan Pipho, Michael Pipho, Tabitha Johnson and Sierra
Salemi; brother, Daniel Smith; sister, Darlene Benton; special cousins, Julie
Calvert and Eugene Matthews; numerous other relatives and friends.
