Carpenter, 70, of Pasadena who died Wednesday, April 18 at his residence in Pasadena. Mr. Carpenter served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959 and was stationed in Germany. He was a welder, a Baptist and attended church in Channelview. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home Chapel, with Joe Loving and Eddie Simmons officiating. Burial was at New Hope Cemetery in Limestone county. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Carpenter of Pasadena; a son, Bobby Carpenter and wife Stormy of Tehuacana; daughters Vicki Bohannon and Kevin Cfajkowski, Lisa Fincher and husband Gary of Evergreen and Patricia Edmisson and husband Ronald of Pasadena; Thirteen grandchildren, Amanda, Tiffany, Robert, Shaun, Lesley, Christine, Patrick, Charles, Elizabeth, Richard, Justin, Anthony and Brandon; One brother, 15 great-grandchildren, eight sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
