DEATH OF MRS. EMMA B. CARROLL

Mrs. Emma B. Carroll, relict of D. V. Carroll, died at the home of her only 
child, Mrs. J. N. Scott, at her home in Fairfield, May 28, 1914. her remains 
were interred in Driver cemetery the following day. Rev. W. A. Craven, 
conducting services.

Mrs. Carroll was born in England in 1845, came to Freestone county when 15 
years old and lived here ever since. Her husband, D. V. Carroll, whose death 
occurred several years ago, was an old and highly respected citizen of the 
county. Mrs. Carroll was a member of the Baptist Church, and was a true 
servant of the Lord.

For many years deceased had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. J. N. Scott,
and she will be sorely missed in this home, as "Grandma" was dearly loved by 
all. We extend to them our sincere sympathy in their sad bereavement.
