Jimmy Carroll

FAIRFIELD - Jimmy Carroll, 71, of Fairfield, the Freestone County Auditor, died
Friday in a Tyler hospital, after he had suffered several heart attacks.

Funeral services for Mr. Carroll will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2
o'clock in First Baptist Church. Officiating will be the pastor, the Rev. Mack
Roller. Burial will be in Steward's Mill Cemetery, under direction of Capps
Memorial Chapel.

The family will receive friends at Capps Memorial this evening from 6 until 8
o'clock.

Among survivors are his wife, Peggy Carroll of Fairfield; his mother, Mrs.
Thelma Carroll of Fairfield; a son, Jeff Carroll; a daughter, Karen Anniece
Robinson; a brother, Curtis Carroll of Teague, and a sister, Barbara Buchanan
of Mexia.
