Laura Lee Carroll - Fairfield  	
Died July 4, 2008 

Laura Lee Carroll, 87 of Fairfield, passed away July 4, 2008 in Fairfield. She 
was born on February 3, 1921 in Turlington Texas to William Hall Huckaby and 
Annie Olivia Henry Huckaby. She was a homemaker, a member of the Calvary 
Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxillary V.F. W.  She is preceded in death by
her grandson Timmy Pilkington.

She is survived by husband C.L. Carroll Sr. of Fairfield, sons William Lee 
Carroll and wife Melinda of Corsicana, C.L. Carroll Jr. and wife Jannette of
Fairfield, daughter Lee Ann Pilkington and husband James of Fairfield. 
Grandchildren Traci Ard and husband Craig of Chico, David Lee and wife Tina of
Hallsville, Blair Carroll of Austin, Melia Pilkington of Mexia, C.L. Carroll
III of Fairfield, Jennifer Lane of Fairfield,  Joey Bailey of Fairfield and 
Cody French of Fairfield. Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8pm July 6, 2008 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, 
Fairfield.  Graveside services will be 10am Monday July 7, 2008 at Fairfield
Cemetery with Rev. Terry Skinner officiating.

Laura Lee (Huckaby) Carroll 

Graveside services were held this week for Laura Lee Carroll, 87, of Fairfield who died 
Friday, July 4.
Mrs. Carroll was born in Turlington on Feb. 3, 1921 to William Hall Huckaby and Annie 
Olivia Henry Huckaby.
She was a homemaker and member of the Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mrs. Carroll was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 7, at Fairfield City Cemetery with Terry 
Skinner officiating.
Mrs. Carroll is survived by her husband C.L. Carroll, Sr. of Fairfield; sons William Lee 
Carroll and wife Melinda of Corsicana and C.L. Carroll, Jr. and his wife Jannette of 
Fairfield; daughter Lee Ann Pilkington and husband James of Fairfield; grandchildren 
Traci Ard and husband Craig of Chico, David Lee and wife Tina of Hallsville, Blair 
Carroll of Austin, Melia Pilkington of Mexia, C.L. Carroll, III, Jennifer Lane, Joey Bailey 
and Cody French, all of Fairfield; and a number of great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Timmy Pilkington.
Arrangements were made by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home of Fairfield.

Laura Lee (Huckaby) Carroll

Laura Lee Carroll, 87, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008, in Fairfield.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. today at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in 
Fairfield.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Fairfield City Cemetery with Rev. Terry 
Skinner officiating.

She was born on Feb. 3, 1921 in Turlington to William Hall Huckaby and Annie 
Olivia Henry Huckaby. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Calvery Baptist
Church and the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Timmy Pilkington.

Survivors include her husband C.L. Carroll Sr. of Fairfield; two sons, William 
Lee Carroll and wife Melinda of Corsicana, and C.L. Carroll Jr. and wife Jannette 
of Fairfield; one daughter, Lee Ann Pilkington and husband James of Fairfield; 
grandchildren, Traci Ard and husband Craig of Chico, David Lee and wife Tina of 
Hallsville, Blair Carroll of Austin, Melia Pilkington of Mexia, and C.L. Carroll 
III, Jennifer Lane, Joey Bailey and Cody French all of Fairfield; a number of 
great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
