Omah Faye Carter
Apr. 11, 1930 - Mar. 17, 2002

Services for Omah Faye Carter, 71, of Kirvin will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 
First Baptist Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Louie Jones officiating. Burial 
will follow at Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel. 

Mrs. Carter died Sunday in Kirvin. 

She was born April 11, 1930, in Mexia. 

Mrs. Carter was a homemaker. She was a member of Kirvin Baptist Church and a 
member of the Order of Eastern Star No. 331. 

Mrs. Carter is survived by daughters, Sammie Faye Turner of Kirvin, Christine 
Owsley of Terrell and Mary Adams of Richardson; son, Fred Lance Carter of Kirvin; 
brother, Thomas Franklin Lance of Teague; nine grandchildren and 16 great-
grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Thomas Roberson, Keith Roberson, Corey Current, Michael 
Carter, Robbie Castlow, Jeremy Davis, Jonathen Allred and Blair Casey. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Robinson, Fred Latham, Clint Sutton, Rodney 
Latham, Michael Roberson and Ken Sessions. 

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the building fund of 
Kirvin Baptist Church.
