Mrs. Nettie Carter Funeral Services Set For Tomorrow 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Cameron Chapel Church of 
God in Christ for Mrs. Nettie Pearl Carter, 62, who died at her home at 1204 
East Milam street in Mexia Saturday. Elder N. L. Nelson will officiate and 
burial will be in the Grove Island cemetery with the Dorsey-Keatts Funeral Home 
in charge of arrangements. 
  Mrs. Carter was born in Mexia on Dec. 20, 1893 and lived here most of her 
life. She is survived by her husband, Jim Carter, Mexia; three sisters, Mrs. 
Lula Rhodes, Mrs. Mattie Strain, and Mrs. Ceola Willis, all of Mexia; 16 
nephews, and 20 nieces.
