The Rev. Larry Rose, pastor, and the Rev. E.J. Malone will officiate. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery, North 1st Street, Teague. Viewing and visitation are scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, from 1 until 7 p.m. at Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home. A wake service is set from 6 until 7 p.m. Sunday. Pallbearers are Joel Lopez, Antoine Wicker, Howard Harvey, Douglas Allen, Vincent Mims, Michael Earl Carter and Michael Foley. Mr. Carter, born on September 10, 1967, in Teague, died September 6, 2007, in Scott and White Hospital-Temple. He was a member of First Baptist Church-North Teague, and was employed as a painter for Lide Container Company. Surviving are his children - Latoia Ardella Little, Ashleigh Barrentine and Nicholas Barrentine; his parents, Ardella Mae West and Willie C. of Teague; his brothers - Alford Lee Carter of Teague, Cedric Allen of Houston, Willie Mathis West and Sherika of Teague, Clint West and Varnetta of Teague, and Willie Sharod West and Chrystal of Teague; nephews - Dylan West, Derral J. Gipson, Frederic L. He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents and his uncle.
