Fairfield Recorder - May 31, 1901 issue

The Recorder regrets to learn of the death of the little two-year old boy of 
Rev. and Mrs. J. B. Casey, which sad event occurred at their home near Young,
of congestion, last Monday night.  This is a sad blow to the young parents, 
more especially as it was their only child. They have our sincerest sympathy
in their dark hour of sorrow.

Card of Thanks

We thank the people of Young for their kindness to us during the recent fatal
illness of our darling baby. We trust that God, the great rewarder of all good
deeds, will reward and bless everyone. We hope to do them favors in return for 
their kindness; but trust it will not be in the loss of loved ones. Praying God's 
blessing on them, we remain true friends.
