Feb. 26, 1897 issue 

Died - Mrs. M. A. Casey of Young died on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1897, of pneumonia,
aged 66 years and 8 months.  She leaves two children and ten grandchildren; her
husband, John Casey, having died about 3 years ago.  She was a member of the
Baptist Church at Round Prairie and was a good Christian lady.  Her remains
were interred in the Rehoboth graveyard last Wednesday.

Old in years and ripe in the qualities of Christian womanhood, she has gone to 
her reward. The form grows old no more and the dim eyes see anew when the 
children of God go home.  We cannot see thru the mists, neither can our 
imagination picture what God has hidden, but this we know, age, sorrow, and
death are not known in the inheritance of the redeemed.

The Recorder extends sympathy to the relatives and hopes that "bye and bye" 
they will find this Christian mother again.
