TEDDY F. CATE
Mexia - Teddy Floyd Cate, 72, of Mexia died Friday in a local hospital. 
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Corley-Porter Funeral Home, the Revs. 
Truman Ledbetter and Johnny Curry officiating. Burial will be in the Wortham
Cemetery. Mr. Cate was a retired maintenance worker at the Mexia State School. 
Survivors include his wife, Ethel; two sons, F.L. Cate and Gail Cate, both of 
Mexia; two daughters, Mrs. Patsy Creech of Dallas and Mrs. Pam Glidewell of 
Waco; a brother, Virgil Cate of Corsicana; three sisters, Mrs. Beulah York of 
Teague, Mrs. Lura Catlin of Dallas and Miss Addie May Cate of Wortham; and 11 
grandchildren.
