Mexia Daily News- Jun. 14, 2005 edition Margaret (Walton) Cervenka Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Cervenka, 90, of Mexia, will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in First Baptist Church. The Rev. Marcus Sheffield, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mexia Cemetery, under direction of Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Cervenka, born at Cotton Gin on Jan. 18, 1915, died Monday at Parkview Regional Hospital. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons and stepsons. Family visitation is scheduled for this evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Porter Funeral Home. Surviving are her husband, William Cervenka of Mexia; a son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Jo Bryan of Mexia; a daughter and son-in-law, Valaree and Jerry Hathaway of Mexia; stepsons - Larry Cervenka and wife Jan, Edward Cervenka and wife Ping, Kenneth Cervenka and wife Marilyn, and Norman Cervenka; two granddaughters, Vikki Gibson and Rebecca Lucas; grandsons - Brad Bryan, Scott Bryan and Bill Bailey; step-grandsons, David Cervenka and Kevin Cervenka and wife Dove; 13 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Valentine Hodge. Mrs. Cervenka was preceded in death by her parents, Hurl and Gladys Walton; by her first husband, Fred W. Bryan; by a grandson, Bryan Bailey, and by a brother, Dwayne Walton.
