Bobby Glenn Chancellor

Bobby Glenn Chancellor, 55, of Kirvin, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 in 
Fairfield. Services were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at Ward Prairie 
Baptist Church with Bro. Louis Simpson officiating. Interment followed at 
Chancellor-Union Cemetery near Lake Fairfield State Park.

Mr. Chancellor was born June 21, 1957 in Denton; to parents George Jackson and 
Gertie Self Chancellor. For nine years he was a route sales manager for Dr. 
Pepper and later worked as a finish carpenter. He and his wife Jolinda were 
married March 31, 1988 in Farmers Branch. They have been Freestone County 
residents since 2001 having moved here from Denton. From 2002 until 2004 they 
owned and operated C. T. & E. Country Market in Kirvin. He was a member of Ward 
Prairie Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 
two sisters, Jackie Jones and Joan Underhill.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Jolinda; four children, Bobby Chancellor 
and wife Aleyda of Mansfield; Scott Chancellor of Corinth, TX; Amanda Baird and 
husband Willie of Teague; Eric Shaffer of San Antonio; five grandchildren, Camey, 
Tyler, Ethan, Logan and Madison; one sister, Donna Furlow and husband Ric of 
Cedar Hill, TX; two brothers-in-law, Mike Jones of Duncanville; Mickey Underhill 
of Denton.

Pallbearers were Scott Henson, Larry Slye, Ric Furlow, Joe Self, Malcon Ferrell 
and Gary Howard.
