Thelbert Chaney

Graveside services were held Saturday for Thelbert Chaney, 91, of Fairfield, who 
died Wednesday, Dec. 10, at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield.

Mr. Chaney was born in Ada, Oklahoma on Feb. 22, 1917.

Services were held Saturday at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin with Bubba Rutherford 
officiating.

Mr. Chaney is survived by his children, Bobby Chaney of Kerrville, Fred Stark of 
Fairfield, Richard Stark of Palestine, Aaron Stark of Athens, Kenneth Stark of 
Fairfield, George Stark of Lake Jackson, Glenn Stark of Houston, Mary Etta Brown 
of Kirvin, Shirley Smith of Burnett and Lillie Linden of Wortham; brother, Billy
Chaney of Oklahoma; and sisters, Clara Maxwell and Lorene Nichols, both of 
Oklahoma, and Ann Denton of Houston.

Arrangements were made by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home of Fairfield.
