LILLA (MYERS) CHAPPELL

Services for Mrs. Lilla Chappell, 100, of Fairfield, Texas, were held on Tuesday,
 January 12, 2010, at Capps Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harry Moore officiating. 
 Interment followed the services at Lake Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. 
 Chappell were Charles Myers, James Myers, Jerry Metzgar, Don Archibald, Donnie
  Flandry and John Sullivan.

Llilla was born on March 8, 1909, in Streetman, Texas, to parents Jim and Mary 
Ellen Pilcher Myers. She was married to Ellis Chappell and was a member of the 
new Life Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Chappell was a lifetime area resident. 
She passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2010, at East Texas Medical Center in 
Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis, in 1987. Three brothers and one
 sister also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Chappell is survived by her children Robert Archibald and wife Imogene of 
Lake Mexia, Dorothy Hedrick of Speegleville and Donnie Chappell of Fairfield; 
her sister Ruby Metzgar of Fairfield; six grandchildren, nine great 
grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of the arrangements.
