Emery Lee Cherry

Services for Emery Lee Cherry, 76, of Humble, formerly of Caldwell, were held 
Saturday at Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield with the Rev. Ed Ridge officiating. 
Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin under the direction of Capps Memorial 
Chapel, Fairfield.

Mr. Cherry died Friday, Jan. 4, 2003, in Fairfield.

He was born May 9, 1926 in Valley Mills to Homer Wyatt Cherry and Addie Cummings 
Cherry.

Mr. Cherry was a truck driver and a member of the VFW in Humble.

He was a Methodist and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. Cherry was preceded in death by his wife, Nathiely Christine Cherry.

He is survived by brothers, Otis Cherry of San Marcos; Robert Paul Cherry of Alvin 
and Homer Dwight Cherry of Wortham; and sister, Martha Nell Cannon of Fairfield.
