Deceased Name: SERVICE PLANNED FOR MARY SMITH CLARK

Services for Mary Smith Clark, longtime English and journalism teacher for the 
Dallas Independent School District, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Restland 
Wildwood Chapel.

Miss Clark, 84, died early Sunday at a Dallas nursing home.

She was a native of Teague, Freestone County, and received her bachelor's 
degree in English from Southern Methodist University. She began teaching in 
Dallas schools in the 1920s, relatives said.

Mrs. Clark was a yearbook adviser and taught English and journalism at Forest
Avenue High School and North Dallas High School before retiring in the early 
1970s, relatives said.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
