Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Corsicana Daily Sun - February 16, 2007 Arthur Haward Cleveland - 02/16/07 Arthur Haward Cleveland, 79, of Corsicana passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at Heritage Oaks West. Wake service will be 7 p.m. today at Ross and Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Freedom Fellowship Church, 917 S. 17th St., with the Rev. Charles D. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Larry Bonner, Shannon Cleveland, Kendrick Willis, Jason Cleveland, Michael Cleveland, Cedric Willis, Randy Hooks Jr. and Howard Owens. Mr. Cleveland was born May 2, 1927, in Tehuacana. He was a bus driver and mechanic for the Fairfield Independent School District. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Vera Cleveland; wife, Margaret Cleveland; daughter, Sharon Cleveland; grandson, Gregory Cleveland; three sisters, Ruby Wafer, Robbie Jessie and Ivory Fay Taylor; and two brothers, Sim Cleveland Sr. and Tad Cleveland. Survivors include six daughters, Beverly Gail Latimer (Roy), Glenda Cleveland, and Tonyua Cleveland (Larry), all of Corsicana, Debra Owens (Howard) of Mexia, Stacy Williams (Gregory) of Okinawa, Japan, and Jacqueline Woods of Fort Worth; three sons, Daryl Cleveland (Beverly) of Corsicana, Mitchell Cleveland (Sharon) of Grand Prairie and Keith Cleveland (Sabrina) of Dallas; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Lewis of Fort Worth and Winnie West of Lubbock; one sister-in-law, Cora Cleveland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
