Linna ‘Bea’ Coats
Feb. 2, 1923 — May 29, 2004

Services for Linna “Bea” Coats, 81, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at
Rest-Ever Memorial Park.

The Rev. Glenn Kohlhepp will officiate. Burial will be at Restever Memorial
Park.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

Mrs. Coats died Saturday afternoon at her home.

She was born in Teague and moved to Bryan from San Antonio one year ago. Mrs.
Coats was a homemaker and attended the Methodist church.

Survivors include her husband, John E. “Sonny” Coats of Bryan; a son and
daughter-in-law, Tommy and Anna Coats of Bryan; two brothers, Gerald Steed of
Nacogdoches and Shelly Steed of Leesburg, Fla.; a grandchild; and a
great-grandchild.
