Bro. Darrel Beggs conducted the services and interment followed at Union Cemetery near Freestone. Lois was born on March 19, 1914, in Freestone County to Ben Tedder and Eula Alma Alexander Christian. She was a homemaker and long time member of First Baptist Church in Teague. Mrs. Cochrum passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Mexia Nursing Home. Mrs. Cochrum is survived by her sons H. Durwood Cochrum and wife Billie of South Lake and Wm. Troy Cochrum and wife Mary of Waco; her granddaughter Jamie Cochrum Smith and husband Chad of Waco; her grandson Garnett Clayton Cochrum and wife Melissa of Donie; her great grandson Dylan Dean Cochrum of Donie; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Wm. Garnett Cochrum; her parents; brothers, Ray Christian and Roy Christian; sisters, Ruby Satterwhite and Dorothy Bond.
