Wesley Collier, 65, of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006, in
Fairfield. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton
Funeral Home in Fairfield. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Griffin-Roughton
Funeral Chapel in Fairfield. Interment will follow at Fairfield City Cemetery.

"Wesley Collier (Fairfield)  
Wesley Collier, resident of Fairfield, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006
at his residence in Fairfield at the age of 65. He was born in Big Springs,
Texas on June 7, 1940. Mr. Collier thrived on his adventures in his R.V., and
he enjoyed four-wheeling. He was a member of the Freestone County Coon Hunters
Association. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Wesley Collier Sr.
and Verdie J. Collier, and his daughter Deanna Helen James. 

Survivors include his wife Frances Collier of Fairfield. Four grandchildren.
Brother Woodrow Collier of Waco, Texas. Sisters and brother-in-laws: Joan and
Dean Akin of Grant, Florida, and Sherry and Pete Aude of Lake Ridge, Florida. 

Funeral services are schedualed for Friday, May 5, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at
Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial to follow at Fairfield
City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at
Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Daniel Davis, Lucius Davis,
Melvin John, Jerry Hutchison, Daniel Luna, and Ray Stanley."

"Wesley Collier

Funeral services were held for Wesley Collier Friday at Griffin-Roughton
Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial followed at Fairfield City Cemetery.
Mr. Collier died in his home in Fairfield on May 2 at the age of 65. He thrived
on his adventures in his R. V., enjoyed four-wheeling and was a member of the
Freestone County Coon Association.
Mr. Collier is survived by his wife Frances Collier; brother Woodrow Collier of
Waco; sisters Joan and husband Jean Akin of Grant, Florida and Sherry and
husband Pete Aude of Lake Ridge, Florida and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Willie Wesley Collier, Sr.; mother
Verdie J. Collier and daughter Deanna Helen James.
Pallbearers were Daniel Davis, Lucius Davis, Melvin John, Jerry Hutchinson,
