Roger Collins

Funeral services were held Saturday for Fairfield native Roger Collins, 66, 
who died last Wednesday in Teague.

Mr. Collins was born April 15, 1921, in Fairfield and was a retired cook.  He
lived in Fairfield.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Capps Memorial Chapel with Mike
Daniel and Rev. J.C. Nickerson officiating.

Burial was at Baptist Cemetery in Fairfield.

Mr. Collins is survived by a daughter, Brenda Collins of Dallas, four 
grandchildren, Lisa Michelle, Corey, Robert Dwane and Gerome Collins, all of
Dallas; a cousin, Charlie Thornton of Fairfield; a friend, Penny Mims of 
Fairfield; and a number of other friends and relatives.

Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
