Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Frank Barron Cook, Jr. Frank Barron Cook, Jr., of Kirvin, passed away on May 29, 2014, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. He was 57 years old. Mr. Cook graciously donated his body to science with the hope to help others. It will go to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Frank Cook was born in Seattle, Washington on February 25, 1957. He had congestive heart failure and had a massive heart attack in 2004. The doctors gave him ten years to live and he made it ten blessed years and a few months. He was a kind soul and would do anything to help anyone anytime. Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Veta L. Cook, his sister Marie Cook, his son Langston B. Hayes of Kirvin and children Langston R. Hayes, Mystic E. Hayes, Skylar H. Hayes, Eva M. Hayes, Ava N. Hayes, Dallas R. McGee, Gregory S. McGee, and Emma E. McGee; his son Warren W. Hayes of Casper Wyoming and children Braxton Hayes and Mason Hayes; his daughter Marie Michelle Webb.
