Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Mexia Daily News - Oct. 24, 2003 edition Frank Cooper FAIRFIELD - Funeral services for Frank Cooper, 88, of Fairfield, will be Saturday at noon in Fairfield Baptist Church, 203 Huckaby Street. Officiating will be the Rev. A.L. Thibodeaux, pastor. Burial will be in Fairfield Baptist Cemetery, under direction of Moore's Angelic Funeral Home of Teague. Mr. Cooper, who died Monday in East Texas Medical Center-Fairfield, was born Oct. 5, 1915, and was a retired Fairfield city employee. He was a member of Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, and his hobbies were gardening and farming. Visitation is scheduled today until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Wake service and family visitation is also scheduled this evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. Surviving are two sons, Joe Frank Cooper and wife Lela of Fairfield, and Bobby L. Cooper and wife Kay of Fairfield; a daughter, Mary Alice Hatcher of Fairfield; two grandchildren whom he raised, Sonya Gibson and Jody Walker of Fairfield; 10 grandchildrena and 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law, Hugh Turner of Dallas; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Harold Daniels, Billy Joe Alexander, D.C. Cooper, O.D. Daniels, William Cooper, R.C. Cooper, Roy Cooper, James Turner, Leon Jones and Gene Brown.
