Emma Jane (Jeter) Cooper

WACO - Emma Jane Cooper, 79, died Sunday. Graveside services will be Friday at
noon in Woodland Cemetery near Kirvin. Connie Cooper Cohn will officiate.

She was born Dec. 18, 1923, in Knox City to Tilford Allen and Emma Parker
Jeter, and was reared in Kirvin after her mother's death. She was reared by her
aunt and uncle, Mattie and Bear Tims, and graduated from Fairfield High School.
She was the devoted wife of Ernest Cooper, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Connie Cohn; three sons - Bill Cooper, Jim Cooper and
Paul Cooper; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pecan Grove Funeral Home-Waco, is in charge of arrangements.
