Viewing and visitation is being held Friday, April 11, 2008 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. with the family present from 7 until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, 326 Huckaby Street in Fairfield. The pastor, the Rev. A. L. Thibodeaux, will be the Eulogist and the Rev. Carlos Daniels will officiate. Interment will be in the Fairfield Baptist Cemetery. The family will lunch at the Fairfield Baptist Church Fellowship Hall upon their return from the cemetery. Joe Frank was the first child born to Frank Cooper and Annie Lee Turner Cooper. He grew up in Fairfield and attended Dogan High School. He was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church. Joe was employed by Johnson Trucking Co and Perma Care Pharmaceutical Services. His hobbies were barbecuing, gourmet cooking and fishing. His parents and a grandchild, Jaddell Hudson, preceded him in death. He leaves behind his wife, Lela Bell Cooper, Fairfield; His sons: Michael Hudson and wife Yolanda, Fairfield; Joe Frank Cooper, Jr., Ft. Worth; His daughters: Alice J. Coleman and husband, Cedric, Dallas; Carla Hudson, Fairfield; His brother: Bobby Cooper and wife, Kay; and his sister: Mary Alice Hatcher and husband, Jimmy, all of Fairfield; His aunt: Mrs. Bessie Mae Keeton, Houston; His brothers-in-law: Bobby Hudson and wife, Elaine, Hutchins, TX; Joe Thomas, Mesquite, TX; Robert Hudson, Sacramento, CA; and Jonas Eldridge and wife, Sara, Tucson, Arizona; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; God-daughters: Mia Michelle Thompson, Dallas; and Doris Hunter, Fairfield; and other relatives and friends.
