Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder newspaper Billy Edward "Frog Man" Cooper Funeral services were held last weekend for Billy Edward "Frog Man" Cooper, 55, who died Monday, March 30 at his residence in Waco. Mr. Cooper was born on July 19, 1952. He was a graduate of Tech high school in Fort Worth and served in the United States Navy from 1973 to 1979. Mr. Cooper owned his own stained glass shop in Orange County, California for six years before moving to Teague and later to Waco in 1991. He was employed as a long distance truck driver with Crete Trucking Company. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague with Jack McDaniel of Cedar Creek Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with an honor guard from the United States Navy. Mr. Cooper is survived by mother Edna McCauley and husband Herman of Teague; daughter Jessica Zoe Hulter and husband Daniel of Parkville, Maryland; grandchildren Rebecca Jane and Daniel Robert Hulter; the mother of his daughter Rose Vodery of Felton, California; and half-brother Billie Joe Cooper, Jr. of Corpus Christi. He is preceded in death by father Billie Joe Cooper and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
