LELA BELL HUDSON COOPER

Funeral services for Mrs. Hudson were held on Saturday, December 26, 2009, at 
Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, 326 Huckaby Street, Fairfield, Texas. 
Reverend A.L. Thibodeaux and Reverend Carlos Daniels officiated and interment 
followed at the Fairfield Baptist Cemetery.

Lela met Joe Frank Cooper of Fairfield 28 years ago and this union was completed
with the gift of her two children. She was retired from K-Mart Inc. of 
Corsicana, Texas and was currently employed by Cen-Tex ARC of Corsicana. At 
Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, Mrs. Cooper served on the Usher Board, 
Pastor's Love Committee, Church Secretary and Church Membership Secretary. Mrs.
Cooper went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2009, at Navarro 
Regional Hospital, Corsicana, Texas, among loving family and devoted friends.

Her parents, husband and three sisters, one brother and her grandson have
preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Michael Hudson and wife Yolanda of
Fairfield; her daughter Carla Hudson of Fairfield; her brothers Joe Willie 
Thomas of Mesquite, Bobby Ray Hudson and wife Elaine Hutchins, Robert Hudson of
Sacramento, California, Jonas Eldridge and wife Sara of Tucson, Arizona; eight
grandchildren and six great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Mary Hatcher and
husband Jimmy of Fairfield; her brother-in-law Bobby Cooper and wife Kay of 
Fairfield and a very special friend Doris Hunter of Fairfield.
