The Bryan - College Station Eagle September 10, 2003 Opal Belle Copeland Oct. 3, 1913 — Sept. 9, 2003 Services for Opal Belle Copeland, 89, of Bryan and formerly of Normangee are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Temple Assembly of God. Bro. Randall Scott will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Gum Springs Cemetery in Flynn. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cozart Funeral Home in Normangee. Mrs. Copeland died Tuesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. She was born in Teague and lived in Bryan for 20 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Tom Poteet and Bob Copeland. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Willie and Kathleen Poteet of Loveland, Colo., a daughter and son-in-law, Lola and Lee Roy Williams of Bryan; a sister-in-law, Pearl Cash of Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
