Billy C. Copeland


Graveside services for Billy C. Copeland, 78, of Tyler are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, in Lake Chapel Cemetery in Fairfield with Dr. Darryle Dunks officiating under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mr. Copeland passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, in Tyler.

He was born on June 19, 1934, in Levelland to the late Charles Harold and Beatrice Humphries Copeland. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. He loved to fish and work in his yard and was the "Mr. Fix It." Another pleasure for him was watching the birds and squirrels.

He is survived by his wife, Neva; daughter, Faith McKinney; sons, David Copeland and Kenneth Copeland and wife Debra; stepdaughters, Cindy Wojnar and Melissa Raycraft; sister, Annice Durrett; one granddaughter; six grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
