James Eddie Coslett

James Eddie Coslett, 61, of Purdon passed away Friday, March 21, 2003 at 
Navarro Regional Hospital. 

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Birdston Cemetery in Streetman 
with Rev. Charles Wallace officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Richie Price, Greg Price, Jimmy Price, Tim Pullin, Ronald 
Farmer and Doyle Frazier.

Mr. Coslett was born Feb. 14, 1942 in Crockett. 

He was preceded in death by father Ed Coslett and father-in-law H.C. Smith.

Survivors include wife Sharan Coslett and son James Edward Coslett, both of 
Purdon; daughter Lisa Ann Melton of Baytown; granddaughters Christi Nicole 
Johnston of Houston and Mallary Michell Melton of Junction City, Kan.; great-
grandson Cobe Johnson of Arlington; two nieces and three nephews; mother Onita
Coslett of Groveton; and mother-in-law Katherine Cogburn and husband Travis of
Purdon.
