Barbara Cothran

TEAGUE - Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Cordelia (Miss Bob) Cothran, 83, of
Fairfield, will be conducted Thursday morning in Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home
Chapel-Teague. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery at Luna.

Mrs. Cothran, who died this morning in Teague, was born Jan. 10, 1921, in
Norman, Oklahoma, and was a member of First Assembly of God Church-Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Durant Cothran; by a
great-granddaughter, Kristie Lynn Mitchell, and by a sister, Hazel Alyeen
Cothran.

Mrs. Cothran was the retired owner of Rocking M Day Care Center, which she had
opened in March of 1974.

Family visitation is scheduled for Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock in
Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Teague.

Surviving are a daughter, Melva Ann Pierce of Fairfield; a granddaughter,
Katrina Bounds and husband Kelly of Mexia; three great-grandchildren - Danielle
Renee' Mitchell, John Hezekiah McClinton and Regan Nicole Bounds.
