Final Rites Set Thursday For Negro Woman 

  Final rites will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 in the Grove Island AME 
Church for Mrs. Nora Cotton, 67-year-old Mexia Negro woinan. Burial will be in 
Grove Island Cemetery with Rev. R. C. Carr officiating. She died at her home in 
Mexia at 10 o'clock Sunday night. A native of Teague, she had lived in Mexia for 
the past 10 years. Dorsey and Keatts Funeral Home will be in charge of 
arrangements.
