Thomas Leonard Craig

Funeral services were held Wednesday for Thomas Leonard Craig, 61, of Wortham 
who died Sunday, Oct. 19 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia.
Mr. Craig was born in Limestone county on Dec. 13, 1946 to Willie Morgan and 
Madie Day Tackitt Craig.
He served as a law enforcement officer with Freestone county for 24 years and 
was a member of the Wortham Masonic Lodge for over 30 years.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Central Presbyterian Church in 
Wortham with Mexia State School chaplain, Karen Hulsey officiating.
Interment followed at Wortham Cemetery with Scott Holmes, Owen Morgan, Chunky 
Busby, Bradford Martin, Edward Buzz Camp, Mark Duke, Jack Williams and James 
Sartor serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers included members of Freestone County Law Enforcement
Mr. Craig is survived by his wife, Pam Craig of Wortham; sons, Kelly Craig and 
wife, Rhonda of Wortham, Todd Craig and wife Kayla of Wortham, J.R. McLelland 
and wife Tonya of Teague, Josh McLelland and wife Jeana of Palestine; daughter, 
Krista Ball and husband Jerry of Wortham; granddaughters, Whitney Chrisley, 
Kateley Craig, Lilah Craig, Caroline Craig, Laura Young; grandsons, Cord 
Samuels, Ty Williams, Trent Williams, James McLelland, Coby McLelland, Brody 
McLelland; brothers, Sam Craig and wife Mary of Wortham and Morgan and wife 
Linda of Wortham.
Arrangements were made by Porter Funeral Home of Wortham.
